When's The Season 11 Premiere For 'My 600-lb Life'?

Since the reality series My 600-Lb Life debuted in 2012, audiences have watched dozens of people suffering from severe obesity embark on their weight loss journey. The cast members’ ultimate goal is to lose enough weight to qualify for a high-risk gastric bypass surgery performed by Dr. Now, a renowned bariatric surgeon in Houston, Texas.

My 600-Lb Life offers fans a look inside the intense emotional and physical journey the cast members undertake as they work to change their lifestyles. For 10 seasons, Dr. Now has been trying to help people get their weight under control so they can finally live their daily lives without difficulty or pain. He also said it aims to change the skewed views of both viewers and the medical community about morbidly obese people.

The show is certainly an inspiration, and now that season 10 has concluded, we’re eager to know that we can tune in next. What’s the premiere date for season 11 of My 600-Lb Life?

When’s The Season 11 Premiere For ‘My 600-lb Life’?

Unfortunately, no date has been set for the season 11 premiere. However, there have been rumors that the series may be canceled due to legal issues the show has gotten itself into. TV Show Ace reports that My 600-Lb Life may be in hot water due to lawsuits against the show’s production company, Megalomedia.

Several former cast members have sued the company, with various complaints ranging from forcing patients to quote lines from the script to outright fraud for gross negligence. For Stacasm, Alicia Kirgan, who appeared in season 6 of My 600-Lb Life, filed a lawsuit in 2020 claiming that the production company falsified a mental health exam required for her weight loss surgery.

One of the most common complaints filed by the show’s patients has been that the producers promised to pay for all medical expenses incurred during the filming of the show and then backed out, leaving many patients responsible for unexpected expenses that they are still trying to pay.

Despite these issues, the cancellation of My 600-Lb Life is still just a rumor. As far as we know, the series has never had a problem with ratings, and has still changed the lives of many of its stars over the course of its 12 years. We’ll be anxiously awaiting any official updates on the season 11 renewal and premiere date.
