Initially, Krystal lived with her parents due to financial constraints. Her fiancé, Damian, and daughters, Rai and Faith, also lived there. Weighing 690 pounds, Krystal struggled with daily tasks and mobility.

Despite two previous marriages, she wants to delay marriage until she achieves significant weight loss progress. She doesn’t want to burden Damian with full-time care. The episode tracked her journey with Dr. Younan Nowzaradan in Houston for a year.

She worked hard to qualify for bariatric surgery. Starting at 690 lbs, she committed to Dr. Now’s plan. Eventually, she was approved for the surgery. Krystal and Damian tied the knot in Menan. They then moved to Houston for the procedure. She entered surgery weighing 549 pounds. Post-surgery, she switched to a liquid diet, dropping to 522 pounds.

After the surgery, she transitioned back to solid foods. Krystal felt great, moving more easily. She emphasized the positive impact on her daily life. Krystal mentioned upcoming physical and psychotherapy sessions.

At the episode’s end, she weighed 505 pounds. Krystal walked with a cane, a vast improvement. Previously wheelchair-bound, she now enjoyed the park with her family.

Her current status is unknown as her social media is private. Yet, her dedication to weight loss remains strong.
