Krystal S. from Menan, Idaho was on ‘My 600-lb Life’ Season 12, starting at nearly 700 pounds. Wondering where she is today?
TLC’s My 600-lb Life Season 12 premiered on March 6, 2024. The first episode, “Supersized: Krystal S’ Journey,” showcased Krystal from Menan, Idaho.
Krystal used food for comfort since childhood. At 10, she weighed over 200 pounds. At 16, she had her first child. Krystal’s mom, Lorie, pushed her to finish high school, which she did. But at nearly 40, she’s yet to find a career she loves.
Initially, Krystal lived with her parents due to financial constraints. Her fiancé, Damian, and daughters, Rai and Faith, also lived there. Weighing 690 pounds, Krystal struggled with daily tasks and mobility.
Despite two previous marriages, she wants to delay marriage until she achieves significant weight loss progress. She doesn’t want to burden Damian with full-time care. The episode tracked her journey with Dr. Younan Nowzaradan in Houston for a year.
