A follower asked her, “When does the trach come out?” Many fans will remember that Tammy had a trachea inserted to help her breathe shortly before entering rehab. Tammy posted a video with her response. She said, “I, unfortunately, don’t know when exactly my trach is gonna be able to be removed.” She added that she is “can’t wait” to having it removed, but realizes that it is needed at the moment.
She went on to say that the tracheotomy hurts sometimes, particularly when she coughs. Tammy said that most of the time she does not feel it and it does not affect the way she eats, but she is still ready to have it removed.
The trachea was initially inserted to help her breathe after she experienced lung failure and was put in a medically induced coma.
She again refers to his trachea and says it will probably be a while before it is removed, but he embraces it, as he embraces every part of his journey towards a healthier life. He says the hard times he is experiencing are good because it means he is still alive and making progress.

She plans to travel to Atlanta for the procedure. She also hopes to have knee surgery to help her walk better as she continues to lose weight.
