New 90 Day Fiancé star Emily Bieberly thanked her weight loss for giving her the confidence to post a makeup-free selfie after fans accused her of heavily editing a racy photo on Instagram. Emily, 29, and her partner Kobe, 34, are currently starring in the ninth season of TLC’s flagship series.
Emily Bieberly met Kobe Blaise during a short trip to China, where he was working as an English teacher. Kobe, an underwear model, asked Emily to marry him, and their one-night stand turned into a full-fledged relationship. Emily soon found out that she was pregnant with Kobe’s child, but the two were separated for two years due to visa and COVID-19 problems.
Kobe Blaise’s first reaction when he saw his wife-to-be upon her arrival in America from Cameroon was to comment on her weight. Emily showed off her new healthier body and revealed that she has lost 18 pounds since giving birth to Koban, her and Kobe’s son.

Critics crowned Emily as the villain of 90 Day Fiancé season 9, and recently they were even more irritated with her when they came across a photo on Instagram in which she allegedly altered her face unrecognizably in a very revealing self-portrait.

Perhaps Emily Bieberly felt she was piling on those who mocked her photo because she wasted no time in posting a photo of herself without any visible editing. With her lush wavy hair pulled to one side, Emily, a cast member of 90 Day Fiancé, stared at the camera as she took her selfie. Emily was wearing a brown tank top, probably fresh from a workout, as she credited this for her appearance.
Despite this, Emily Bieberly did receive some positive messages, including one from her 90 Day Fiancé co-star Shaeeda Sween. Emily and Kobe Blaise didn’t appear in the 12th episode, but that doesn’t mean the hatred towards her has diminished in any way.
Fans who don’t know that Emily Bieberly and Kobe are still together, and have even welcomed a second child, continue to want the man to call off their wedding and go back to his home country. However, all is not as it seems in 90 Day Fiancé, and it is very likely that Emily and Kobe may just be ramping up the drama in their story, making it seem like their relationship is not meant to be.
