Keeping Up With The Kardashians: Kim Kardashian Says She Was Body-Shamed During Her First Pregnancy.

Kim Kardashian of Keeping Up With the Kardashians is opening up about how she was negatively affected by cruel body shamers during her first pregnancy. It was while carrying daughter North West during an infamous Met Gala appearance with Kanye West that Kim faced harsh criticism.

Kim Kardashian’s gorgeous floral print dress turned her into a laughingstock on the Internet, while some cruel critics made her the subject of insensitive memes. Now, with that experience behind her, Kim is sharing how much it damaged her self-esteem at the time.

Kim has shared the health issues that prevented her from carrying her last two children. She welcomed Chicago West and Psalm West through a surrogate mother while carrying North and Saint West in full-term pregnancies.

However, during her pregnancies, the reality star faced public scrutiny for extreme changes in her physical appearance. While many have praised Kim for effortlessly carrying both pregnancies to term, there have been a number of online trolls who have poked fun at the SKIMS founder. Over the years, Kim has admitted to being saddened by the criticism.

She opened up even more during an appearance on Kristen Bell and Monica Padman’s We Are Supported By podcast, admitting that she felt down during the pregnancy of her oldest son, North. “I was not a good pregnant person. I was not a cute pregnant person. I did not like it,” Kim, who now has a SKIMS maternity line, confessed. “I hated it. I hated how I felt. I hate how I looked.”

While this isn’t the first time Kim has shared her confidence struggles during pregnancy, it’s the first time Kim has elaborated on the exact thoughts she had at the time. Her first pregnancy came after Kim spent years being one of the biggest sex symbols in the world, and she wasn’t used to such negative comments about her physical appearance. Her postpartum weight loss journey had an even bigger impact on the reality star.
