As viewers watched the couple have conversations about family life, future expectations and trauma, most people expected the couple to come to an end. However, things quickly changed when Jarrette’s connection with Mallory Zapata became stronger than her connection with Iyanna McNeely. However, after an interview that revealed painful truths, Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones got engaged. But are they still together?
It’s no secret that many viewers and social media users have been protesting the pairing of Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones. From Jarrette Jones’s questionable behavior to Iyanna believing she was a consolation prize, hearts broke online as dedicated fans wished Iyanna would find her person. After the couple had a discussion about trusting each other and letting their actions match their words, Iyanna decided to give Jarrette the benefit of the doubt.
Most people ultimately want what’s best for Iyanna McNeely, even if Jarette came up short in some important ways. Not to mention, Jarrette Jones shared that he was concerned about their financial situation, since Iyanna has talked about wanting to pursue higher education. So, Jarette feels that he will have to support Iyanna through all of this. Unfortunately, some important issues remained completely unresolved until their wedding day – and while many people hoped Iyanna would say “I don’t,” the couple went ahead with the wedding.
Love Is Blind Season 2: Are Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones Still Together?
Although Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones have pledged their love to each other and tied the knot, their relationship status as of now is unknown. You see, both Iyanna and Jarrette followed the protocols of Love Is Blind, so because all couples are typically contractually banned from revealing their relationship status on social media while the show airs, it’s pretty hard to decipher who’s still an item. And in the case of Iyanna and Jarrette, they left us puzzled. What we do know is that they seem to be at least on cordial terms. Both Iyanna and Jarrette currently follow each other on Instagram; however, neither party has liked the other’s posts.
We can imagine that things between the couple may have been shaky, especially since the true nature of Jarrette’s connection with Mallory is available for all to see. During Jarrette’s proposal, he repeatedly said that Mallory’s rejection gave him the “validation” he needed to go all in on his relationship with Iyanna.
Of course, this caused many people, including Iyanna, to believe that she was a second choice. Although Jarrette assured Iyanna that this was not the case, we have a feeling that her initial feelings were more than justified.
Not to mention that after Jarrette’s highly inappropriate conversation with Mallory at the couples’ meeting in Mexico, Iyanna probably went on to rehash her relationship with Jarrette and may very well be done with him after the wedding.
