Mama June: From Not To Hot: Lauryn Shannon Has Given Birth To Her Second Child

Lauryn Shannon and her husband Josh Efird are now a family of four! The couple welcomed their second child together and couldn’t be happier.

Lauryn is now a mother of two! The Mama June: Road To Redemption 21-year-old star revealed on Wednesday, July 21, that she gave birth to son Bentley Jameson Efird. She shared the special news via an Instagram post, which included a slideshow of three pictures of Lauryn and proud dad Josh Efird holding their baby son in hospital.

Lauryn posted on Instagram on April 9 that she is expecting her second child. The series of pictures included positive pregnancy tests, as well as two side-by-side photos and a sonogram of Josh Efird’s new bundle of joy! The couple were absolutely thrilled to have another little one, and it was incredibly clear from Pumpkin’s caption on the post.

Lauryn Shannon fans noticed in the 2021 season of Mama June: Road to Redemption that she was definitely going through a change.

During the first trimester of her pregnancy, she developed different eating habits and even seemed to be sick at times! Pumpkin also got to share her news with her family in this episode.

Josh Efird and Lauryn Shannon got engaged in June 2016, before adopting little Ella in December 2017. The couple got married in Las Vegas in May 2018.

In addition to the responsibility of raising her family, Pumpkin has been the legal guardian of her younger sister, Alana Shannon. But the future looks incredibly bright for Lauryn and her family, and they can’t wait to see what lies ahead!
