Dr. David Hamilton revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and he wanted to fund Meredith’s research into the disease to treat it. She has agreed to be in Minnesota twice a week and to have Amelia Shepherd on her team.

Meredith was offended by the public pressure of it all.
She spoke with Nick and said that her life in Seattle with her children complicated the job offer. Nick mentioned meeting his children and how they could have had a life in Minnesota. Meredith accused Nick of being with her on grant funding, and he accused her of looking for trouble in big situations. He told her to do what she wanted to do in the end.
The episode ended with Nick meeting with his children. They told them that they met when Meredith saved Nick’s life.
