Grey’s Anatomy shows Meredith Grey in a new relationship. However, she took it slow with Nick Marsh. The good news is that they made a big move before she made a career decision.

Season 18 began with MeMeredith Grey redith going to Minnesota for a job offer. Dr. David Hamilton revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and he wanted to fund Meredith’s research into the disease to treat it. She has agreed to be in Minnesota twice a week and to have Amelia Shepherd on her team.

She also reconnected with Nick, who works at the same hospital. They started having a few nice dates and eventually became physically intimate. But it still seemed like their lives were separate until The Makings of You.

The couple wanted to spend time alone in a cabin, but Nick’s niece was there with her boyfriend. This family time brought them closer together, and Meredith Grey tried to give him some advice.

Meredith Grey and Nick Marsh’s long-distance relationship may be changing after weeks spent together in hotel rooms in Minnesota. “Put the Squeeze on Me” shows that Dr. Hamilton asked her in front of her staff to permanently join his team as director of the Grey Center and chief of general surgery since her surgery on him was a success. Meredith was offended by the public pressure of it all.

She spoke with Nick and said that her life in Seattle with her children complicated the job offer. Nick mentioned meeting his children and how they could have had a life in Minnesota. Meredith accused Nick of being with her on grant funding, and he accused her of looking for trouble in big situations. He told her to do what she wanted to do in the end.

The episode ended with Nick meeting with his children. They told them that they met when Meredith saved Nick’s life.
