My 600-lb Life: David Nelson’s Story. Where Is David Nelson, The Star Of ‘My 600-lb Life,’ Now?

No story on My 600-lb Life is simple. In a recent episode, David Nelson opened up about his tough childhood, bouncing between foster homes and finding solace in food. This reliance on eating stuck with him into adulthood.

Sadly, his habits only worsened over time. Things took a turn for the worse when he battled a severe infection that left him bedridden for two months. Seeking support, he moved in with his foster mother, who had been there for him since he was just 17.

Despite her best intentions, she now enables his unhealthy eating habits. It’s evident that David is in desperate need of a major lifestyle change.

My 600-lb Life: David Nelson’s Story.

David Nelson begins the episode with a weight of 763 pounds. He visits Dr. Now, who starts him on a rigorous weight loss program. David loses 75 pounds over the next two months and is scheduled for bariatric surgery.

However, in the time between that appointment and the next, David regains all that weight. It’s a low point for him, but he makes no excuses for himself, and Dr. Now seems to admire him for it.

David doesn’t get discouraged. Instead, he decides to keep putting in the effort. By the end of the episode, he loses weight again and even starts working on trying to keep losing pounds in preparation for his weight loss surgery.

She says in the episode that she will change her life for the better and that she will “never going back” to the weight or lifestyle she had before.

Where Is David Nelson, The Star Of ‘My 600-lb Life,’ Now?

David Nelson begins his My 600-lb Life weight loss journey on a positive note. He goes through some great ups and downs, but ends the episode with hope for the future. Unfortunately, he has not confirmed anything. He doesn’t seem to have a public social media account. So, it’s hard to say for sure where he is now with his weight loss.

David made progress and faced setbacks in My 600-lb Life. He also showed renewed determination. He may have had weight-loss surgery after filming. At this point, this is speculation, but he has admitted his struggles with diet and exercise, and that’s a big deal.

Let’s hope for David’s sake that he was able to continue his progress after filming of his episode ended. But since he doesn’t seem to be on social media with any updates, it’s hard to say for sure how his journey went once the cameras stopped rolling.
