Similarly, her tax bill has risen to $2.2 million. So a judge appointed a trustee to take over Tom Girard’s assets to pay back creditors. Therefore, Erika has to give him an estimated $1.5 million in diamond earrings at this point.

The California State Bar is not lenient in its treatment of stars. And so justice prevails. The high-profile drama involving Tom Girardi, who stole millions from his creditors, is getting out of hand. A judge has asked officials to get everything, including Girardi’s assets, to pay back creditors.

Similarly, Girardi must pay $2 million to the four children of the Lion Air plane crash. So the authorities will seize anything that will help Tom’s estate. Likewise, Erika Jayne has again created tension as RHOBH is also accused of laundering money for her lavish lifestyle.

Flashback to 2007, when Tom gave his wife Erika Jayne $750 diamond earrings as a gift. But who knew those earrings would one day be questioned.

Now trustees want diamond earrings from the Real Housewives star, claiming Girardi bought the earrings with client money. But Jayne refuses to give up the jewels. The Bravo star has appealed to a judge that she is the innocent spouse. She therefore had no idea of her husband’s misleading financial dealings. Therefore, Jayne wants the judge to dismiss the case.

Erika also talked about her current financial situation. She revealed that her assets include her personal assets and salary from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Likewise, another way she earns income is through sponsorships and appearances. The reality celebrity then revealed her tax problems. At the end of May 2022, the California Franchise Tax Board [(FTP)] sent a payment notice to her manager. The bill states that Jayne owes $2,226,985.77 in taxes for the 2019 tax year. Therefore, Erika is under severe financial pressure and is trying to resolve the problem. Jayne stated that she cannot pay her taxes to FTP.
