The season starts off with a bang! The opening footage shows us a snapshot of the drama, with the setting at Dorit Kemsley’s house. Remember Dorit, the queen of designer looks and unparalleled sass? She’s planning a healing retreat to mend those fractured friendships within the group.
However, there’s a catch. Dorit’s husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, seems far from impressed by the whole affair. If his banter with retreat runner Eaglewoman and her colleague Blue Raven is anything to go by, PK clearly has his reservations. RHOBH: What To Expect in Season 13
As the footage rolls on, we see Kyle Richards and Sutton Stracke discussing the upcoming retreat. Neither seems particularly thrilled, casting further doubts on Dorit’s grand plan. Flash to a glammed-up montage of the Housewives preparing for the retreat. The divas promise to keep an open mind, but skepticism hangs thick in the air.
But wait, there’s more. Kyle Richards, who’s never been one to mince words, opens up in a confessional. She reveals that her relationships within the group have drastically changed since last season. Still nursing emotional wounds, Kyle’s apprehensive about the retreat’s outcome.
And then we have Erika Jayne, who walks in and instantly commands attention. She talks about feeling like “a man on her own island” post the tumultuous previous season.
