Sister Wives: Is Meri Brown Done With Kody Brown?

Viewers of Sister Wives have all seen how Meri Brown reluctantly remains in a loveless marriage. She has even openly said that there has been no intimacy between her and Kody for over a decade.

However, she has persisted, despite him repeatedly saying that he doesn’t consider himself married to her. Fans have found him pathetic and many thought that he was annoyed with Christine for doing what she has long wanted to do. It was to leave a plural family when she realised it was no longer right for her.

Meri Brown confirmed to presenter Sukanya Krishan that she and Kody are no longer together. However, it seems this was not Meri’s choice. She shared that Kody basically made the decision for her and them with his own words.

During the season, he had repeatedly said, as mentioned above, that he did not consider himself married to a woman. In addition, he had said that he did not want to be with her and that he would be happy if she left and found someone else.

Meri finally heard what she had been saying for so very long and agreed. Even though she still loved him and would be open to reconciliation, she knew it wasn’t going to happen. So it was just acceptance, not standing up for herself and walking away when she’d had enough. Now Kody is with just one wife, Robyn, who is his fourth and only legal wife.

Kody claims that at one point he wanted to reconcile with Meri Brown. However, he also claims that it was his former third wife Christine who prevented this from ever happening. He had in fact spoken to Janelle, Christine and Robyn about this alleged reconciliation, which Meri Brown knew nothing about. Apparently Christine made it so it never happened, which she has denied and called “offensive” because she would never do such a thing.
