TLC’s show, My 600-lb Life, follows obese individuals on a weight-loss journey guided by Dr. Now, a bariatric surgery specialist. Some patients succeed, but not all do. Seana Collins, aged 22, appeared in Season 8.
After losing her diet plan, Seana hesitated to admit her mistake. She skipped a meeting and made no progress. Despite a second chance, she struggled.
Seana managed to shed 30 kilos, feeling proud. Dr. Now worried about her slow progress and commitment. Unfortunately, she regained the weight, exceeding her initial weight. Dr. Now removed her from the program.
Nevertheless, Seana vowed to continue striving for a healthier lifestyle.
What Happened To Seana Collins From My 600-lb Life?
Seana Collins keeps a low profile online. She’s not sharing much or discussing her weight loss journey. But, maybe she’s still tackling lifelong habits and seeking help for severe depression and anxiety.
In the program, she revealed how her tough childhood led her to turn to food for comfort. This resulted in significant weight gain and bullying at school.
She then dropped out of school, worsening her depression. After a stint in a mental hospital and battling drug addiction, Seana craved change.
Dr. Now knew about her struggles and advised her to address them along with weight loss. Even though they couldn’t fully collaborate, Dr. Now offered to help if she lost 50 pounds and proved she was ready for change.
