TLC’s hit reality series My 600-lb Life documents a variety of morbidly obese people embarking on a weight-loss journey with the help of Dr. Now, a specialist in vascular and bariatric surgery. The programme has transformed the lives of many patients, although not everyone who joins Dr Nowazaran’s rigorous programme sees immediate success – or any success at all. Seana Collins, one of the show’s youngest patients at the age of 22, participated in Season 8.

After losing the diet and exercise plan that are essential guides to weight loss, she was too afraid to disclose her mistake and tried to figure out a plan. This led to skipping a meeting and misusing the time with no progress, although she was given another chance.

After getting back on track, Seana Collins was proud to have lost over 30 kilos. However, Dr. Now was concerned about her slow pace and ability to fully commit to the program. Eventually, she gained the weight back and ended up slightly heavier than her starting weight. Dr. Now dropped her from the program, but she promised to keep trying to change her lifestyle.
