TLC’s My 600-Lb Life is a real phenomenon. As The Cinemaholic points out, it started out as a five-part miniseries, but it was so popular that more and more episodes were added until it became the mega-series it is today.
Each episode follows a morbidly obese man who usually weighs 600 pounds, but often exceeds the weight limit by much more, as he travels to Houston, Texas, to meet the incomparable Dr. Now and hopefully change his life forever.
Most of the participants in My 600-Lb Life want to qualify for comprehensive weight loss surgery, but to do so, they are put under Dr. Now’s strict diet and exercise regime. Most stumble, many fail and some even give up completely.
When it comes to season 7’s Brandon Scott, however, he’s focused on getting well sooner rather than later because he’s reluctantly irritated by how much his girlfriend has to take care of him. The future looked bright, but did he succeed?
Where Is Brandon Scott From My 600-Lb Life Now?
As In Touch Weekly notes, Brandon Scott first appeared on My 600-Lb Life weighing 718 pounds. He was at the end of his rope, but thanks to the support of his girlfriend Taylor Kunce, Scott got back on his feet, changed his terrible eating habits for good and looked like a completely different man after losing 335 pounds.
Since quitting the show, Brandon Scott has continued to lose weight at a reasonable pace, pursuing his goal of becoming a professional musician and is even engaged to Taylor in 2019.
Judging by the recent Instagram shots, the Columbus, Ohio native looks trimmer and happier than ever. Brandon Scott keeps fans updated on Facebook about his upcoming concerts and planned music releases. His YouTube channel also has plenty of videos. It’s wonderful to see how well Brandon Scott is doing these days.
