During 10 seasons, Dr. Nowzaradan helped many people with obesity on “My 600-lb Life“. Patients come nationwide to his Houston office for weight loss help. Dr. Now guides them with diet, exercise, and surgery options. This program is often their final opportunity for change.
In Season 9, Krystal Hall, 34, from Ohio, sought a better life. Despite her young age, her health was deteriorating due to excess weight. Krystal and her family traveled to Texas for Dr. Now’s help. They began their path to a healthier future.
How Is Krystal Hall From ‘My 600-lb Life’ Doing Now?
Unfortunately, Krystal Hall’s journey was derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic. As he was ordered to stay home, he was unable to return to Houston for the operation. Seven months passed before Krystal was able to return to Texas.
The delay slowed her progress. After 11 months, Krystal regained 53 pounds of 91 lost. Dr. Now felt disappointed but understood Krystal’s challenges. Surgery postponed, Krystal must lose regained weight for approval.
Krystal stayed positive, already down 24 pounds, moving forward. The episode covered only her first year progress. It’s unclear if she had the surgery.
No updates on her Facebook profile yet. Patients often continue in Dr. Now’s program without updates. Hopefully, she appears in “My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now?”
