Alaskan Bush People: Is Joshua Brown’s Family Disrespectful to Allison?

There are many Alaskan Bush People cast members to keep an eye on, from parents Ami and Billy Brown to their seven children, Matt Brown, Joshua Brown, “Bear” Brown, Gabriel “Gabe” Brown, Noah Brown, Amora, and Merry Christmas “Rainy” Brown. 

Then there are the important others of the siblings to consider, besides grandchildren. Noah Brown married his wife, Rhain Alisha, in August 2018, and they welcomed a son, Elijah Connor Brown, in February 2019. Bear Brown is also a new father, who in March 2020 welcomes a boy named River with his ex-fiancée, Raiven Adams. 

Although Joshua is not married and has no children, he is said to have a longtime partner named Allison Kagan. The two would meet while Kagan worked as a field producer in the Discovery series for several seasons, noted The Sun, and they began dating in 2016. Since this writing, Kagan is still working on Discovery Channel, according to her LinkedIn profile. 

Joshua Brown seems to be incredibly happy with Allison Kagan, and the two are renovating a 100-foot ferry called Fathom This!, according to Radar Online. The ship, originally called Osprey, was his supposed residence with the producer. However, Bear Brown has since planted its roots in Washington State, where the Brown family currently resides.  We don’t know what the future holds for the couple, but it seems their current situation may be a bit complicated.

Joshua and his family have known Allison Kagan for a long time, between 2015 and 2018, “she worked as a supervising producer on Alaskan Bush People and produced almost 30 episodes,” according to Radar Online.

Despite this proximity, the Brown clan is not supposed to have welcomed Kagan with open arms. “They don’t show the same level of respect for Bam’s woman, Allison, and that just makes him angry because they’ve known her longer than any of his brother’s new hungry family girls,” said an insider on the release. The source noted that the reality star is “completely sick and tired” of double standards.

However, Rainy Brown commented “I love y’all guys” on a 2017 photo of the couple, and Kagan posed for a shot with Ami Brown in June 2017. Things may have changed since then, though we won’t speculate too much about the situation. We wish Joshua and Kagan the best for their relationship.
