Twenty-four-year-old Megan Davis struggled with her weight, how to manage from one day to the next, and was living with her mother because she couldn’t meet her basic needs on her own.
Megan Davis is the focus of the 14th episode of season 8 of My 600-lb Life. She was 24 when her TLC episode aired in 2020. Her dreams of becoming a mother have also been shattered because of her weight, doctors had told Megan she couldn’t conceive.
What Happened To Megan Davis From My 600-lb Life?
Megan Davis had been dealing with food addiction all her life. During her ‘My 600-lb Life’ episode, she explained that she had a good relationship with her parents, but the same could not be said for the relationship she had with her two half-sisters.
She went on to have a hard time in secondary school and said she was made fun of at school. Megan said the only time she felt safe was when she went out to eat.
By the time Megan graduated from high school, she weighed about 600 kilos. She also got into an abusive relationship with someone she met online.
In her late teens and early twenties, Megan fell in with the wrong crowd, but later moved in with her mother, who is a better influence and encourages her to eat healthier. After getting help from Dr Now, Megan got down to 481 pounds on the TLC show.
