Counting On: Critics Think Jessa Duggar Seewald Just Edited Spurgeon Seewald’s Face In A Photo

The Duggar family is massively present in social media. Jessa Duggar, Michelle and Jim Bob’s third oldest daughter, has the highest number of Instagram followers in her family at 2.2 million. Having said that, she’s also been subjected to a lot of criticism and vigilant eyes – and some critics of the show are convinced Jessa edited her son’s face into a photo.

Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, have three children: Wolfsmith, Henry, and Ivy. The couple welcomed each of their children close together, and the fans loved to see the little ones grow up by each other’s side.

Jessa and her husband love to put their children on social media. The Seewalds have a YouTube channel, where they show off connecting time with their children, like when Duggar took Henry on a mother-son date. Plus, the fans are amused by the couple’s youngest child, Ivy, who could sing “Happy Birthday” for herself after turning one. People have also been curious about whether Jessa and Ben will soon be expanding their family at any time, but fans have loved watching the couple’s parents grow up, as many watched Duggar on television.

The downside of massive social media coverage is that there is often room for criticism. And those who closely analyze Jessa Duggar’s photos now accuse the reality star of editing her children’s faces. Jessa posted a photo back in September of her children spending time on their rocking chairs, and fans are now noticing that Spurgeon’s face looks “too perfect” on the photos.

“His face looks really smooth & the white of his eyes looks extremely white,” a user wrote about the image in a Reddit thread. “It’s something about his eyes. They’re misaligned,” another person added. “The eyes look too perfect like doll’s eyes or something,” another user remarked. “He’s definitely badly filtered. What a great way to say you think your child is ugly,” someone else wrote. Jessa never said whether she edits her children into photos, although in the age of social media, it’s not exactly uncommon for users to edit their photos before posting them.
