Counting On: Jill and Derick Wants More Children

When Jill had her first two children, it was a tough task. The Counting On star studied midwifery and wanted to have her children at home. Her parents encouraged having children in the safety of their own homes. But it didn’t work well for Jill Duggar.

Jill from Counting On had to go to the hospital for a c-section. She was in labor for seventy hours with her first child. And the next delivery wasn’t much easier for the young mother.

Counting On Jill and her husband Derick Dillard both want more children. Despite the risk, they want their family to grow. They already have two boys, but fans are wondering if they want to try to have a girl.

Fans of Counting On recently asked Jill if she used birth control. Both Derick and his wife, Jill Duggar, replied that she did. But Jill quickly added that she was using something that wasn’t hormonal.

She said she wants everything to work when it’s time to have another child. Derick said that non-hormonal is better because it keeps her mood the same. And Jill from Counting On said she doesn’t want to accidentally terminate a pregnancy.

Duggar patriarchs Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar oppose the use of birth control. In fact, Michelle said she felt that one of her miscarriages was a punishment from God. But fans aren’t sure how the rest of the Counting On family feels.
