What began years ago with the Ice Princess continues to this day. And no one has been more closely involved with both families than Mayor Laura Collins. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Laura was married to Luke Spencer for many years, and also has a son Nikolas Cassadine in common with the late Stavros Cassadine.

Mayor Laura Collins won’t back down when her family is at stake. As Victor Cassadine roams the streets of Port Charles, Mayor Laura Collins knows that whatever happens, she must protect her family. While Nikolas knows enough to keep Victor at arm’s length, her grandson Spencer Cassadine doesn’t have the years of experience to handle Victor properly.

Spencer may have been unwittingly influenced by Victor, in the same way he has been deceived by his alleged girlfriend Esme Prince. In a way, Mayor Laura Collins may feel she is fighting Victor for Spencer’s soul.

So one of the first things on Laura’s agenda when she returns to Port Charles will definitely be Victor. She warns Victor about Nikolas and Spencer. But judging by Victor’s Thanksgiving speech to his family, he’s going to keep his family, all of them close to him. Can he convince Laura that his intentions are good? For that matter, are they?
