The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way many reality TV shows are filmed. The pandemic not only forced many programmes to interrupt or completely change their filming procedures, but also created new confrontations and conflicts between presenters.
In particular, Sister Wives, a long-running reality show on TLC, included plot lines related to COVID-19 in the show’s new episodes, allowing viewers to see how the actors have coped with the stress. However, some questions have remained unanswered and many viewers have wondered if Kody Brown or another member of the Brown family has finally been infected with COVID-19.
Kody Brown is the patriarch of the Brown family. Although he has received criticism from viewers over the years for his lifestyle choices, Brown seems to genuinely care about his family.
In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Brown was determined to keep his family as safe as possible. According to In Touch Weekly, Brown has kept each of his family units separate since the start of the blockade, including keeping each of his four wives and their children in a separate family room.
Kody Brown has been travelling alone from house to house to make sure that no-one can get hold of COVID-19. Although he has allowed some outdoor family gatherings, Brown has maintained strict social distance even during these rare events. “I’ll spend the entire time stressing out about making sure that we’re not getting exposure to the virus from each other,” said Brown, speaking about why he has followed COVID-19 precautions so strictly. She also made sure to point out that some of her children are immunocompromised, which can make them more susceptible to serious complications if infected with COVID-19.
Sister Wives: Did Kody Brown Get COVID-19?
While fans have learned a lot about how Kody Brown and his family have coped with the pandemic, viewers have not shared whether any family members have actually been infected with COVID-19.
Notably, Kody Brown hasn’t shared anything on social media that he has contracted the virus, nor have there been any confirmed reports that any of the family members have tested positive.
However, this does not mean that the Browns have never been infected with COVID-19. It is very possible that he or another member of his family had COVID-19 at some point, but their contracts with the TLC network prevent them from sharing this news with fans prematurely. With new episodes of Sister Wives currently airing on television, fans may find out the news about the series itself as the seasons continue.
