Jessa Duggar Seewald showed Spurgeon hard at work on her schoolwork and the fan club that has grown as she tries to focus. The Counting On star is homeschooling her children, a decision that didn’t shock followers as she and all of her siblings were homeschooled and helped their mom, Michelle Duggar, with their younger siblings.
She never officially announced the start of school for Spurgeon, but she is on par with her cousin, Israel Dillard, in first grade. Jill Duggar decided to send her son to public school, and Jessa Duggar Seewald decided to homeschool, keeping Spurgeon in the same grade as Israel, who is about six months older.
Counting On: Jessa Duggar Seewald Shared Updated Photos Of Spurgeon
On Instagram, Jessa shared a photo of Spurgeon working on his school assignment while Henry and Ivy Jane crowd around him.
It looks like Spurgeon is making it through first grade without too much trouble. Ivy Jane and Henry are watching, preparing for what’s in store for them in the coming years.
Seeing Jessa Duggar homeschooling her children is not surprising. She is one of the Duggar daughters who chose to raise her children in an environment similar to the one she grew up in.
She is also one of the last adult Duggar sisters to experiment with wearing pants. Jessa Duggar was caught wearing jeans at Vintage Market Days, where she was with some of her siblings. This is an event hosted near her hometown that takes place twice a year. She attends it and often shares photos and videos of what she is doing while there.
