Counting On: John-David And Abbie Knew They Were Soulmates

Abbie Grace Duggar and Jana Duggar are more alike than Counting On fans knew. Both women have experienced a lot of questions when it comes to their love lives, so when Jana Duggar started sharing while they were at the hairdresser’s, Abbie Grace was able to relate to her on a new level.

Before John-David Duggar married Abbie, he was happy to be single. Counting on the fans, they found it strange that both he and Jana Duggar had stayed alone and weren’t too interested in courting, while their eldest brother and younger siblings were already building up their family.

For Jana Duggar and Abbie Grace, his oldest unmarried sister had his challenges. Abbie Grace talked about it during some of her confessionals on the most recent episode of Counting On. She was also the older daughter who watched her younger siblings get married while she stayed at home.

These women both have a career instinct in them. Abbie Grace was a nurse before she married John-David and Jana is working to launch her own company. She will be the first Duggar daughter to open a business venture and go into the ground. Their wishes weren’t based on the fact that they were married and had a family, as both women had the drive to be independent and to work.

Right now Abbie is at home raising Grace Duggar. Jana Duggar is working on getting her business in order and bringing a plan together so that it will be a success when she is ready to start.

Both John-David and Abbie revealed that they were very happy to be single until their paths crossed. They believe they were led towards each other, and so their relationship and engagement went as fast as theirs.

The time will also come for Jana Duggar. She focuses on her gardening and doing business instead of finding love. Believing that God will lead her to the one she needs to be with is something she talks about a lot. It has yet to happen, so for now she spends her time on things she loves.
