My 600-lb Life: Where Is Brittani Fulfer, The Star Of ‘My 600-lb Life,’ Now

In TLC’s My 600-lb Life, we are given an insight into the weight-loss journey of several morbidly obese people. While Dr. Now’s careful supervision and guidance help them shed a few pounds before surgery, the individual weight-loss processes still require a lot of work and determination. Brittan Fulfer has had one of the toughest journeys, but she has conquered it uphill like a champ.

Brittan Fulfer joined the series when she climbed to 605 pounds. She told viewers that she suffered sexual abuse as a child, which caused her to become overweight. The participant described that living in her body caused too much pain and sadness. Often when she looked in the mirror, she was repulsed by what she saw.

Dr. Now, however, helped the woman change her life. He put her on a 1,200 calorie a day diet. Brittan Fulfer ate three times a day, following a diet high in protein and very low in carbohydrates. She wrote down whatever she ate three times a day.

After a while, the results started to show as Brittan Fulfer lost 240 pounds. A follow-up showed that she had lost another 93 pounds, bringing her weight to 272 lbs.

After a huge weight loss, Brittani Fulfer and her husband even considered the possibility of trying for a baby, something they hadn’t even thought about at the start of the participant’s journey. Although the couple don’t yet have a child of their own, they have become uncle and aunt to little Deshon, who is a bundle of joy. The baby will help Brittan fight his depression. “The ‘My 600-lb Life’ alum has always been open about his mental health issues and has accordingly made his social media account a safe environment for his fans and friends.

“Of the My 600-lb Life participants, Brittani has fared a little worse than the others, as his ongoing battle with depression increases the chances of falling back into unhealthy eating habits.

However, Brittani has fought back and continued to make progress. The change is visible and she seems happy in her current state. Despite the initial difficulties, Brittani Fulfer loves her family and their support encourages her to keep moving forward.
