Why Isn’t The Bachelor Airing Next Week?

The 26th season of The Bachelor ended with a cliffhanger when Clayton Echard asked if he could take back a rose from one of the contestants. For viewers of The Bachelor who want to see what Clayton Echard will do next, they will have to wait longer than usual, as The Bachelor will not air next week.

The Bachelor is taking a break, but the good news is that it won’t be long before the show returns to its regular programming.

Why Isn’t The Bachelor Airing Next Week?

Next week, “The Bachelor” will take a back seat to the NFL, another passion of host Jesse Palmer. With the National Football League playoff season starting, next week’s NFL wild-card playoff game will be shown on ABC’s “The Bachelor” at 8 p.m. on Monday nights.

Bachelor Nation won’t be able to tune into The Bachelor Mansion in Los Angeles next week, but you can watch the fourth-seeded Los Angeles Rams and fifth-seeded Arizona Cardinals meet in a crucial wild card playoff game.

The Bachelor Season 26 is thankfully only taking a week off.. Clayton Echard’s journey will resume the week after the wild card playoff game when the show returns the week after next.

The Bachelor Season 26 will officially return on Monday, January 24, at its regular time of 8/7c.. As of now, next week should remain the only break or delay of the season, as ABC has not confirmed any other interruptions to The Bachelor’s schedule.

When The Bachelor returns, viewers are likely to get answers about the fate of villains like Cassidy Timbrooks, who got into hot water at the end of the episode.
