The Bachelor: Cassie And Colton Underwood Are Open To Doing Reality Tv Again

Colton Underwood’s contract on The Bachelor has officially expired, and the 28-year-old has delivered all the tea in his new book, The First Time: Finding Yourself and Seeking Love on Reality TV. In the popular ABC franchise, Colton has broken tradition and won his latest choice, Cassie Randolph, without commitment. Now, Underwood and Randolph are still happily together. But on the release of The First Time, the NFL player revealed that he struggled with the producers of The Bachelor much more than you might think.

Nonetheless, it looks like Colton and Cassie would still be back on reality TV. And when he went around the media for his book, the first protagonist even revealed that they would be open to televising their marriage. However, it wouldn’t be for The Bachelor franchise.

The Bachelor: Cassie And Colton Underwood Are Open To Doing Reality Tv Again

Speaking with Us Weekly, Colton Underwood was asked if he would come back and watch reality shows. And the former bachelor was definitely ready to take the opportunity, if he ever showed up. He also answered for Randolph as a unit.

“Actually we both talked about [going back to reality TV] and hopefully something will happen,” said Colton. We definitely agree.” We understand the risks involved. But I think we both like it and we both like being in front of the camera. I don’t see anything wrong in saying that.”

He continued, “We both enjoyed our time and had a lot of fun doing it. And we thought: why not? We like to open up and share when we can, when it feels right. So we wouldn’t mind”.

But what would the couple show the world? In an interview with Variety, Colton mentioned that he considered broadcasting his marriage to Randolph on television – whenever possible. He said:

This is obviously the way of the future. We still have the engagement to get to before the wedding. But we both love and love to be in front of the camera, and we also love to share our story with people and we love to feel connected to all the people who supported us and loved us from the beginning, so we would never talk to each other permanently and we would never say yes or no, but it’s an option.

The Bachelor: Colton Says Goodbye To ‘The Bachelor’ Franchise

Eager to get back to reality television, Colton Underwood has stated that he does not want to revisit the franchise The Bachelor. Still talking with Variety, the 28-year-old shared with him The First Time to close his last chapter with the dating program. He said:

As nice and therapeutic as this book was, it was also a way for me to close the chapter in the Bachelor franchise. I have nothing but love and support for those people and I feel like I’m getting off to a good place right now. I will always support bachelors and bachelors. But as far as being on screen with the franchise, I feel like my time is over.

Now, this may come as no surprise. According to Underwood’s interview with The Los Angeles Times, The Bachelor’s team manipulated him in several ways, including his relationship with Randolph.

“There were some crossed lines in my relationship with Cassie that I discovered after the show,” said Underwood. “There were things that they said and did that compromised my relationship with her. Now, it makes so much sense that she decided to leave.”

He also wanted the show to give him a “chance” to end up with the woman he was in love with, since that was, well, their job.

“I understand that we finally met, but I had to take matters into my own hands and be extreme,” said Colton. “They appreciate their TV show more than the love story they always promote.” Actually, there were some things you did that drove us apart and if I hadn’t defended myself, I probably wouldn’t be with Cassie today.

But even so, Coltondoesn’t seem to hold a grudge with the franchise right now. He finally ended up with Randolph and continues to support everyone involved. But, frankly, the book seems like the perfect farewell to a rocky road trip.
