This is the second pregnancy for the Duggar’s daughter. She and her husband Jeremy Vuolo were hoping to give two-year-old daughter Felicity a brother. Unfortunately Jinger had an abortion. So, she talks about it in the new episode.

During the previous episode of the Duggar family show, Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo revealed they were on hold. They told the family in video chat during an evening of family fun. To share their great news, they decorated a gingerbread house and a gingerbread family. The gingerbread woman representing Jinger had a little bump to point out to the family. The family was naturally very happy with the news.

Unfortunately, in the new episode, Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo reveal that they lost the baby. She explains: “We recently announced to my family the news that we expected. That night I started to get some worrying signs. In the middle of the night I started to wake up and have more and more sightings and it was not normal”.

Then, adds the star of Counting On: “We went in and they tried to control my heartbeat, but they couldn’t find one. They did an ultrasound scan and said we had lost the baby”.

Jeremy Vuolo continues: “It was very difficult for us, the timing. It was sudden, we had just announced it to our family and it hit us hard”.

In an Instagram post, Jinger talked about the loss, explaining: “In a few moments I realized I had lost the baby. Tears filled my eyes, sadness covered my soul. Having just lost my grandmother months earlier, the news of a new life was like a spring lily blossoming after a dark, cold winter. And in an instant that life was gone”.

Today marks the first day of my last trimester. 🙌🏼 28 weeks update: daily naps are still happening 🙈 and I’m feeling lots of kicks from baby girl 🎀 (thinking she might be a soccer player like her daddy ⚽️). Big sister’s keeping mommy on her toes and is always eager to join me for a workout. 💪🏼 Daddy is staying busy with Seminary studies and always looks forward to coming home to a dance off with Lissy. 🤗💕 Recounting God’s kindness each day in blessing us with this precious baby after the miscarriage we walked through last November. 🙏🏻 God does all things well. 🤍

After the miscarriage, Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo conceived again. They announced that their second child will be back in May. Now, Jinger is 28 weeks pregnant and expecting a baby girl. The couple is waiting to share the baby’s name until she is here. But they are very excited. The baby will arrive in November.
