Counting On: Jill Duggar Dillard Says Siblings Aren’t Supportive

Jill Duggar Dillard from the TLC series Counting On focused on some of her lifestyle choices. The main choices people asked for were to wear pants, pierce her nose, and have her hair cut. Everyone wanted to know why she did it and how her family felt.

Jill Duggar told the fans that she just wanted to do those things. And that since they left, they could count on being able to do what they wanted to do. And it wasn’t like they were “interrogated” every time they did something.

After Jill Duggar said, “interrogated”, she took it back. And she said, “Asked a lot about it”. She’s probably referring to how the production asks the cast questions several times. They do this so they can get the best angle of the questions. And sometimes it’s to add a little extra drama.

Counting On: Jill Duggar Dillard Says Siblings Aren’t Supportive

One of the questions Jill Duggar from Counting On answered was about family support. Jill Duggar said, “Not everyone is supportive. I have to understand that I have to agree with that.” She specifically said that some of her siblings don’t approve of the way she lives.

Jill Duggar didn’t mention any of the Counting On siblings who didn’t support her. But you could tell she was sad, she wasn’t a big part of their lives. Jill Duggar lives not far from her family in Arkansas, and she does get occasional family visits.

Right after Jill Duggar made her video about her non-supportive family, her sisters Jessa Duggar and Jinger Duggar Vuolo made a video together. Jinger interviewed Jessa both for a podcast and for the video. They talked about how close they were to each other and how they would hang out when Jinger returned to Arkansas.

Some people think the Counting On cast is trying to limit the damage. But others believe that the videos and audio are completely separate. Anyway, Jessa came by to see Jill Duggar, and if anything, she seemed to want to make sure Jill knew she cared.

  1. Maybe some of these changes the sisters don’t agree. I’m sure it’s not that they don’t love her. It’s hard to be close with people that you don’t agree on things. Her convictions have changed from those of her sisters. It’s not hard to imagine. But at the same time if one of them sneeze the wrong way…they put it all over the internet.

  2. I like Jill. I think she should do whatever she wants to do, WITHOUT judgemental people attacking her!! Jill and her family are doing just fine. Daddy isnt the BOSS anymore. Let the girl live her life her way. No one REALLY knows what their lives are like now. Live and let live…stop being so judgemental!!!

  3. So let’s see how many times we hear the s as me story over and over and over from Jill as ng d Hubby. . I g iij nd it odd since on Instagram she and Jinger seem to like each others messages and tell each bigger how good they look.
Just gets tiring hearing poor pitiful me.

  4. The girls have never been able to explore the world without Jim and michelle breathing down their necks, it was apparent from the shows! When the sisters sent out clothes shopping and they’d giggle at the clothes you could easily see it in their eyes that they wanted to have the freedom to wear what they wanted.
Jill is the hero, and the one who is able to experience life her own way, and yes losing family but she’s a grown woman! If her husband didn’t like her changes, I’m sure he’d be saying something!

Words of advice, as long as you are happy Jill, then that’s really all that matters! Enjoy your life, children and husband, they’re Your Family!!
Keep the past in the past, if not, it can easily destroy your life now, coming from experience!!

  5. Jill, I really like your desire to be you. You are not breaking any rules either. I think Jim Bob and Michelle should recognize they no longer have the control they had. Let Jill live for Jill and Derrick’s household.Becayse you are no longer filming, the show us full and boaring. You were always my favorite. Take care Jill let no one not even family get you down. Just be you.
