Counting On: Jill Duggar Is Trying to Be a Good Example

Jill Duggar from Counting On says Mom’s life is “so hard” with two young boys to keep her on her toes. But, chances are, she hasn’t seen the worst of what being a mom can bring.

Earlier this week Jill of TLC’s Counting On shared that being a mom has been tough. In particular, she said it was hard to model the behaviors she wanted to see. But that it was worth it.

Jill always tries her best with her boys, but sometimes they get away with some mischief. Despite the fact that Jill Dillard and her hubby Derick Dillard are very present in their lives, it’s easy for kids to escape their parents’ sight. We doubt that either of Counting On’s parents would model this behavior of writing on the wall or stealing birthday cupcakes like Israel and Sam did.

Counting On: Kids Don’t Always Follow After Their Parents

Jill Duggar herself is a good example of children not following their parents. While they did their best to shape the behavior they believe in, not everything has passed to Jill. She’s not interested in embracing their strict point of view on clothing. Many viewers of Counting On are shocked by the things she wears lately, such as shorts and sleeveless shirts.

Jim Bob and his wife Michelle Duggar have always taught their children how to dress. Although their views on clothing are a little more permissive now, they want everyone to be modest. Some of their views on clothing still shock ordinary people today, even though they have seen it for years.
