Joy-Anna Duggar is only three weeks after childbirth, and she is still working through the tired stage of raising the newborn. Earlier this week, she revealed the ordeal of having two young children when Gideon stepped into her makeup while working on Evelyn Mae. A lot has changed in the last three weeks and -Anna Duggar is doing her best to keep everything on track.
Counting On: Sleepless Nights
On Instagram, Joy-Anna Duggar shared a mirror photo of herself in pyjamas while holding Evelyn Mae and standing with Gideon. She revealed that lack of sleep is starting to catch up with her because her little one is still confusing her days and nights.
A Counting On fan asked Joy-Anna Duggar is Austin Forsyth helps out at night. In a not so shocking answer, she answered, “Austin helps a lot, but he also has to go to work during the day, so I’m not trying to wake him up! Duggar fans weren’t shocked by her answer because he can’t necessarily help feed in the middle of the night. Joy-Anna is breastfeeding, and unless she pumps and also feeds bottled, there isn’t much Austin could do.
There were a few critics who flipped back on her reaction about Austin Forsyth having to work and neglecting the fact that she works taking care of the kids as well. Overall, however, many of the responses were incredibly positive.
Counting On is still aired, but it seems that Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth have finished the show. Earlier this summer, Derick Dillard revealed that they have also stopped filming. This happened because he was upset that they were still part of the family nights and he and Jill Duggar were not.
The last couple of weeks have been an adjustment period for Joy-Anna and Austin as they shift from a child to two gears. Right now, Gideon is a toddler and has kept them on their toes. Evelyn Mae was born just three weeks ago, so a lot has happened for the family in the last month.
