Alana Thompson shared a beautiful smile of self as Mama June stays in Florida with her boyfriend Geno Doak after their rehabilitation period. The 14-year-old looked radiant when she showed a big smile for the camera before sharing the shot with Instagram followers.
Alana’s 774k Instagram followers loved the picture of her and hurried to compliment the teenager.
Alana currently lives with her older sister Lauryn Shannon, her husband, Josh Efird, and their 2-year-old daughter, Ella.
The young reality star is thought to be in contact with her mother after Mama June and her boyfriend Geno entered a rehabilitation center in Florida for a 30-day program earlier this year.
The family’s therapist, Dr. Ish Major, told the Sun exclusively that Mama June “Mama June” Shannon, 40, and Geno decided to go into rehab when they “hit rock bottom.
He told The Sun, “She’s thinking, ‘I’m running out of money, I’m selling my stuff, I have legal problems, maybe it’s time to get help. She finally got to the part where she was ready to act.
“They entered very discreetly, very quietly, once they touched the bottom they went to a treatment center in Florida. “That’s a win, I’ll take it!!”
Dr. Ish had already told The Sun that Mama June is currently “in communication” with her four daughters, Anna, Jessica, Pumpkin, and Alana, from Florida, where she currently lives with Geno.
She said, “The family is being burned. We tried and we never succeeded.” We poured resources, time, attention and affection into you, and none of it worked.” The family is like, “Listen, we’re done.” We’re aggravated.” It’s a very complicated way to reintroduce yourself back into the family”.
He kept going, “We love you, but we’ll love you from here. The last thing I did with Pumpkin was help her understand boundaries. If you can’t behave properly, if you can’t make better decisions for you and for us, then you can’t be a part of our lives.

I am a recovering addict- 24 Years clean and sober. Although I have gotten my life and family back, I am to this day riddled with hurt and shame over what I did to my children and family. My kids are grown and we all have a wonderful relationship. I am also a grandmother!!! So let time take its course. As much as u miss your mom she also misses you. She needs time to clear the way to see what’s best for her as an individual. Drugs are horrible. They take you over. It’s like fighting the Devil himself. Time and actions WILL heal. Her father Does not have HER best interest at heart. He is a moron who is unstable and his wife is only interested in having Alana to spite June and Pumpkin. She is not loving toward Alana. Pumpkin and Josh clearly love Alana and provide a stable environment and they make good decisions based on what’s best for Alana and the family as a whole. They provide both love and discipline for Alana; something every child needs. Alana is smart, beautiful, and mature for her age. She needs this stability. She has been through enough.

We have been watching you on tv since the time you participated in children’s pageants. You have grown up to be a beautiful young women who has so much to give in this world. I was raised by my sister because we lost my mom to cancer when I was 11 and my sister was 14. My sister and I have had a amazing relationship and I love her so much. Kudos to your sister for taking you under her wing. I give her so much credit for stepping up to be your guardian. We all wish you the best in life and we HOPE we will see you on tv soon!
Pumpkin is only 20 or 21, she is so Mature for her Age. Plus smart to get Married and raise you and her Baby in God like atmosphere. I pray for your Mom,she gets it but don’t.
