Mama June: From Not to Hot star Alana Thompson AKA Honey Boo Boo was a bundle of nerves for her big fashion debut. But, she overcame her fears and she absolutely crushed it. Of course, she’s incredibly grateful for the experience and the wonderful memories.

Alana from Mama June: From Not to Hot recently got the chance to audition for a big fashion show in LA. Her agent, Gina Rodriguez, invited Alana and her sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon to visit and set up the audition. Of course she was incredibly excited, but very nervous.

She wanted her mother to be there to share it with her. At first things were a bit rocky, but in the end she was chosen by five designers. Of course she was afraid she would somehow fall or mess up. But during the fitting she got to know the designers and got a lot of encouragement on Mama June: From Not to Hot.

In the run-up to the fashion show, Alana had a serious case of stage fright on Mama June: From Not to Hot. Remember, the last big event she did was Dancing With the Stars: Juniors. Of course she did her best, but she and her partner were cut out of the show. It was clearly a big disappointment and she was desperate. And, that time, she had Mama June Shannon there to support her.

This time Mama is MIA and Alana wished she was there to cheer her up and give her confidence. Of course she had other family members there and that was great. But she missed her mother. Alana’s biggest fear was dropping out. She got a lot of tips and advice from other models and the show directors. No doubt she put herself under pressure to give a flawless performance at Mama June: From Not to Hot.
