My 600-Lb Life: Whatever Happened To Lashanta White

My 600-Lb Life Lashanta White, like many other cast members, initially struggled with weight loss due to gastric surgery.

Well, many other people have had the same problems as well. After all, a food addiction seems as hard to stop as any other. She managed to achieve her goal with a struggle and finally qualified for surgery. So, where is she now? Has she done something with her life?

We recently talked about a number of cast members on the TLC show. It seems that interest in food-addicted and morbidly obese people is growing. So, the network revisited a number of individuals from the show’s last nine seasons.

Some of them have fared very well, like Tiffany Barker, also from season 7. She began her journey weighing 673 pounds. Successfully working towards her goals by following Dr. Now’s rules, she ended up weighing 415 pounds by the end of her season. Since then, she has lost even more weight.

Similarly, Marla McCants from season 3 made a phenomenal effort and weighed almost as much as a car. However, she has told her fans that she has lost an incredible 600lbs since her first weigh-in and looks very good these days.

Recently, she talked about finding a publisher while writing her memoir and hopes it will help others who struggle. What about Lashanta? Has she also been successful and continued to work on her path to a healthier lifestyle?

It seemed that the journey of My 600-Lb Life for Lashanta White came with a sad story behind it. Before her move to Houston to work with Dr. Now, her man Jeremy jumped off his road train.

Nonetheless, her sons stepped up and supported her. Too big to find a job because she couldn’t get around easily, she needed that support. She also needed encouragement. After nine months of work, however, Dr. Now rejected her request for abdominal surgery. Failing to achieve his goal, he lost 113 pounds, according to Looper.

Fortunately, My 600-Lb Life star Lashanta White lost another 47 pounds and underwent her gastric surgery. She later started uploading videos of her singing to YouTube. So far, she’s added more songs she wrote and sang. Unsurprisingly, some of them reference his own experiences, including one titled Big Gurl Action.
