My 600-lb Life” is the fantastic TLC offering that documents weight loss trips undertaken by morbidly obese people. Under Dr. Now’s supervision, individuals try to lose a few pounds before being admitted to the surgery.

Often, Dr. Now’s procedure and program is enough to put them on a path that focuses them on achieving their dream weight. For Garrett Rogers, this was certainly the case, as the young man has brought a drastic change in his lifestyle. You might be curious to know where Rogers is right now.

Initially, Garrett Rogers was not supposed to visit Dr. Now. He is the nephew of Robin McKinley, a cast member, who suffered from an eating disorder and also smoked. After Robin’s brother, Chris, had a heart attack, it was up to Garrett to accompany her to Dr. Now’s office. The famous doctor was already focused on Robin’s dual problem of being morbidly obese and a frequent smoker.

However, Garrett’s weight immediately caught his attention. At the age of 20, the boy tipped the scales to 607 pounds. Dr. Now was alarmed that Garrett Rogers was on his way to becoming the heaviest and fastest person in the world. Inspired by Dr. Now, Garrett redoubled his efforts to lose weight. In the end, he dropped to 337 pounds, losing nearly 270 pounds.

On August 9, 2018, Garrett Rogers created a GoFundMe page to return to Kansas. Of course, he had moved to Houston to be treated by his doctor. However, Garrett Rogers needed to return home because his father had fallen ill. Although his page only raised $288, Robin informed fans that since November 2019 Garrett has returned to Meade, Kansas. She also told viewers that Garrett was not interested in doing an official follow up episode with the network.

It is clear that Garrett Rogers has benefited mainly from Dr. Now’s guidance and is happier after losing weight. Despite his poor social media presence, we were able to ascertain that he has returned to his hometown, which means he has to follow his personal weight loss regime. After all, the young guy has been a success in the TLC series, and it’s nice to see Garrett working towards his weight goal, even if he doesn’t want to do a follow-up episode with the network.
