Where Is Janine Mueller From ‘My 600-lb Life’ Now?

When she first appeared on My 600-lb Life, Janine Mueller weighed 629 kilos. Mueller finally took control of her life by traveling to Houston, Texas, to meet with surgeon and life changer Dr. Now, who immediately put her on his strict diet and exercise plan, allowing the reality star to lose at least 100 pounds so she could qualify for weight loss surgery. Janine struggled considerably, even gaining weight at one point.

This eventually led to Dr. Now admitting Janine to the hospital so that his eating habits could be monitored much more carefully. That did it all.

Janine then lost over 100 pounds and was cleared for a gastric balloon operation. By the end of the episode, he weighed 566 pounds, but was trying to lose even more and become super healthy. Now that his time on My 600-lb Life is over, has Janine been able to continue on a healthier path?

Where Is Janine Mueller From ‘My 600-lb Life’ Now?

As Starcasm notes, Janine confirmed after appearing on the My 600-lb Life follow-up show ‘Where are they now?’ that she will no longer be part of the hit series. In a lengthy goodbye message posted on Facebook, she explained that her strong religious beliefs prevented her from continuing on the journey, and she complained that the show had cut out all her references to God.

Janine Mueller, however, was still living in Houston after moving to be closer to Dr. Now. Judging by recent photos, Janine has lost an impressive amount of weight, reportedly down to 281 pounds at one point. Her boyfriend Doug, however, is no longer a problem for Mueller. “I am no longer dating the man you saw on the show,” she said (via Starcasm).

In fact, they had already broken up before her episode aired. Thankfully, her cat Prince is still in good health and providing much-needed support to his beloved owner. 

According to Starcasm, Janine was a lot more mobile than he was during My 600-lb Life and was even planning to eventually have knee surgery. She also celebrated travelling without a seatbelt extension on a plane by sharing pictures with Facebook fans looking happy and comfortable. Janine is also enjoying an exciting career as the director of accessories for Paparazzi, reports The Cinemaholic. By all accounts, Mueller seems to be a success story for My 600-lb Life and has really turned her life around.
