Counting On: Jana's Search For A Partner

Counting On’s Jana Duggar is always under a microscope when it comes to her relationships. Usually she keeps quiet, but she is open about what she wants in a man.

Being single at the age of 30 is not uncommon for most families. But the Duggar family of Counting On marries young. Many of the children get married in their teens until their early twenties. And it’s not uncommon for them to have children shortly after.

Jana Duggar, on the other hand, has no prospects of long-term courtship. Not long ago, the Counting On star said she wouldn’t fall for the first man who came along. In the past, she even went so far as to say that she wanted someone who lives in Arkansas – or at least someone who would live there.

Another thing Jana said earlier was that she wanted a man who works with his hands. But now it sounds like Jana is a little more open to different kinds of people. Fans of Counting On say it sounded like she wanted someone like her father, Jim Bob Duggar, or her brothers. But now she doesn’t seem to have such strict criteria.

Jana said she believes it hasn’t been in God’s time yet. But the Counting On celeb said she does get depressed when she thinks about it. She wants to get married and said that the events of the couples sometimes make her sad. Jana said they should remember that we are all brothers and sisters.

When everyone comes together before these events for couples, she said that is when being single is the worst thing. Jana is ready for her husband to come along. But she is not happy that people are trying to set her up. She wouldn’t answer questions about people setting her up. But it was clear she had some bad experiences.

Jana Duggar also told the viewers at Counting On that her husband didn’t have to come from Arkansas. And she said she knows now that she loves to travel. And that she would follow him anywhere if she loved him.

  1. This always reminds me of my older sister. I got married at 19, my younger sister was almost 18 I think, but my oldest sister was 32. She really struggled with that. People can be so insensitive. Many made her feel like she wasn’t good enough or her standards were too high. She also believed” in God’s timing it would happen”. It did!
When she met him they both KNEW!!!
She later said to me that she could have married someone but by waiting she married someone that shared the same values & goals.
You see, he was married before & had a family.
His wife passed away suddenly. After a period of time they met. She wouldn’t ever have said she would have wanted that. When God in His timing, brought them together…it was perfect!. ❤
