Counting On: Lauren Duggar Reveals Pregnancy Challenges

In the current season of TLC’s Counting On, Josiah and Lauren Duggar are preparing to become parents. The couple has already had a miscarriage. They called the baby they lost Asa.

Now, this season, they’re expecting a baby girl. At this point, Lauren is pretty far along with the pregnancy and everything seems to be going well. As reported on the TV shows Ace, they are preparing the nursery in a new film. It is not clear if and when the clip will be included in Season 11 of the TLC show. But fans like to see the sneak peeks in advance. While the clip focuses on the couple preparing the baby’s nursery, the clip also includes some information about Lauren’s pregnancy. Up to this point, Lauren hasn’t revealed much about her pregnancy and the difficulties she faced during her pregnancy.

Currently, Josiah and Lauren’s daughter is eight months old. But, due to the timing of filming and production, the current season of Counting On is a bit behind.

Counting On: Lauren Reveals Pregnancy Challenges

In this new TLC clip, Lauren talks about the difficulties she faced during pregnancy. She explains that this prevented the couple from preparing the nursery. But now she feels better and is able to put the nursery in order.

Lauren Duggar says, “There have been several health risks throughout the trimester, I think, just every trimester. The first trimester, we thought we were going to lose this one, because I had noticed it for a month. And then the second trimester, my progesterone levels were very low.”

Duggar’s daughter-in-law keeps talking about the third trimester, saying, “I was having contractions, so it was definitely not the time to come, so it was very dangerous.

Then, Josiah Duggar adds, “For a while, she would get up, try to do a lot, and have contractions. He said they could do some things, and then Lauren would rest and take a break for the rest of the day.
