This season of Little People Big World is ultra exciting for Amy Roloff. While Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff divorced years ago, they both moved on to other big winners. Amy has been with Chris Marek for over three years – and now, the two are preparing enthusiastically to tie the knot.

Amy Roloff has been engaged for months, but fans are seeing her family’s reaction to the show’s news. While there have certainly been mixed feelings, it looks like Matt is 100% in favor of Amy Roloff and Marek walking down the aisle. But Matt Roloff also noticed that he didn’t think Marek wanted to get married. Here’s what happened.

Amy Roloff did not expect to get married again – but after dating Marek for years, the possibility of a future together began to manifest itself. Although Marek and Amy Roloff have had their ups and downs, they seem to be the perfect couple. And he helped her with everything from moving out of Roloff Farms to buying her first house on her own.

In Season 20 Episode 5, Amy Roloff shared the news of her engagement with her son, Zach Roloff, and his wife, Tori. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out exactly as she’d hoped. After breaking the news to the couple, Zach Roloff sat in a dazed silence, which partially surprised Amy Roloff.

“I told my mom and dad, ‘Hey, these are things I don’t want to talk about on camera. My only limit is the relationship between your boys, and if that relationship goes beyond where it is now. I don’t want to be surprised by any news of these relationships on camera,” Zach Roloff explained to the TLC crew. “And then she went in front of the camera and surprised me with that news.”

We’re sure Zach Roloff will work on his feelings about Amy’s engagement. As for Matt Roloff, he talked about Amy’s engagement off the air, while Amy Roloff shared the big news on Instagram for the first time. And all he did was support the happy couple, despite what happened between him and Amy Roloff in the past.

“I’ve made mistakes in the past, and you have regrets and stuff like that, so I’m trying to understand that you need to work on that,” Matt told Us Weekly about his current relationship with his girlfriend Caryn Chandler. “You need to keep the pressure on… This time I redoubled my efforts to make sure… don’t let my guard down and I don’t let time slip and I don’t forget the important moments and the communication. This is a lesson I have learned over time”.

So, are Matt and Chandler going to Amy Roloff’s wedding? Sounds like they’re planning to. “I think we’ll probably get the invitation,” Matt said at Us Weekly. “And if we do, we’ll be sure to go and cause no drama.”
