My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans have seen Whitney Thore trip and fall most of the time when it comes to love, but eventually found “the right one” in the form of Chase Severino, a long-haired keg. The happy couple met through her business partner for the NoBS Active inclusive clothing line, Ryan Andreas, and have been inseparable ever since.
The Instagram followers already knew Chase Severino well enough before his debut in the successful Whitney TLC series, whose sixth season began in January 2020. All their sweet courtship was documented throughout the season, from how they met to a romantic trip to Paris, from which the reality TV star and body positivity activist returned home with an even bigger smile than usual.

As People revealed, the couple actually kept the engagement, which took place in October 2019, for a couple of months. When Whitney Thore spoke with the publication in December, ahead of the new season on air, she was finally able to spring up: “Chase and I are so excited to officially announce our engagement and even more excited that the viewers of My Big Fat Fabulous Life will share this happiness with us.
In fact, fans of the show have seen Whitney and Severino dodge several anti-personnel mines, including her most recent romantic interest, Buddy Bell, who kept sniffing around hoping he still had a chance with the reality star (much to the chagrin of her new boyfriend). Likewise, Thore’s loved ones were not convinced by Severino at first and fear she might get hurt again.
Fortunately, the desire to expand the NoBs led to a romantic trip to Paris, during which Severino asked the question to a shocked and delighted Whitney. Thinking back to their crazy love story, Severino said, “It really was a dream.

When i say I am jealous, it’s an understatement! I LOVE these two together. He looks beyond and sees her. He is proud of her and supports her and thinks she is absolutely great. I appreciate love like that. It’s unconditional and that is what love should be. Congrats my girl.
