Tayshia Adams entering as a replacement for Clare Crawley on The Bachelorette is the worst-kept secret in the history of the Bachelor franchise. Every outlet, even those who don’t normally report on spoilers, recognized the switch-up long before it was broadcast.
Now that Tayshia is finally in the spotlight, she is doing the press for her part of the season. Since she can’t reveal anything that happened during her television chase of love, she has to spill some other tea to keep the fandom intriguing.
During an interview on Rachel and Becca Kufrin’s Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in November 2020, Rachel Lindsay asked Tayshia , “Did anyone slip into your DMs before you were announced as the Bachelorette, which was from Clare’s season? Tayshia said, “No,” which wasn’t really a first. However, Rachel Lindsay commented that Tayshia “answered that as if others did”. In response, Tayshia teased, “They didn’t slip into my DMs before, maybe after.
Again, not much of a first, but Tayshia Adams shared this hint: “From Bachelor world, nobody, I’ve had a lot of people, just in general, but nobody Bachelor-related. Rachel Lindsay picked that up and asked: “Who is the most famous person who slipped into your DMs, blue check?” And then the tea started to warm up.
The Bachelorette: Tayshia Has Talked To A Few Famous Athletes
During the podcast interview, Tayshia teased, “I’m not going to say the name, but I talked to a Laker. That’s when Rachel took a guess and asked, “Is it Kuz?” She referred to Los Angeles Laker Kyle Kuzma, who is romantically connected to Vanessa Hudgens and Kendall Jenner. He is currently dating supermodel Winnie Harlow, according to Daily Mail.
After Tayshia said, “Maybe,” Rachel Lindsay claimed, “Kuz likes to pop in Bachelor girls’ DMs.” Unfortunately, Rachel Lindsay didn’t drop the name. But Tayshia did say, “I talked to Kuz.” Then she started saying, “And actually, I’ve been talking to… No, I’m not going to say it.”
When Rachel Lindsay wondered if it was LeBron James, who has been married to Savannah James since 2013, Tayshia said, “No, no, I’d like to”. Tayshia claimed, “No, believe me, no one’s exciting. I wish that [it]… someone really good, but no, no one exciting.” Shadow much?
When Rachel Lindsay asked if it was Anthony Davis, Tayshia laughed and apparently confirmed the guess. Tayshia insisted that “no one was that exciting” talked to her, which feels a bit shady in front of the Laker in question. After saying: “I died. I literally died,” which she literally didn’t, Tayshia promised, “The tea is dry. It’s cold. What a disappointment. Unless there’s really more to it?
