As we’ve reported, TLC officially cancelled Counting On following the arrest of Josh Duggar. Now the family will have to find new ways to earn money and pay the bills. Some of them have already started figuring things out. Jessa Duggar is building a successful YouTube career.
She and some of her sisters also have influencer deals with brands. Companies send them products to promote in exchange for a commission, a flat fee or more free products. While Jessa Duggar still does this here and there, she seems to be focusing more on YouTube these days.
Counting On: Jessa’s Youtube Career Taking Off?
Since the cancellation of Counting On, Jessa Duggar has increased her content on YouTube. She has uploaded three videos in the last week, when she used to post more randomly. It’s possible she’s hoping to bring in more money from views on her YouTube channel to help pay the bills without the help of TLC. One of his recent videos is a 4th of July vlog with the kids. Another upload shows him encouraging his three young children to “come to know and love God”.
So far, his recent videos have not received many views compared to other uploads. But it’s possible that many people haven’t seen them yet. They may gather more views over time. The more people watch his videos and the ads in them, the more money he can make.
Although Jessa Duggar is trying to upload more videos and get more attention on YouTube, critics in the Duggar family are not sure if this is the right direction for her. They’re not very impressed so far and think she needs to change the way she makes videos.
