Counting On star Jinger Duggar is in shorts this summer and fans are loving it. The TLC star is finding her own style and showing fans that she does things differently than the rest of the family.

Growing up, Jinger Duggar, her sisters and mother Michelle Duggar all dressed very modestly. They wore long skirts or dresses rather than trousers. None of their shirts were low-cut or showed too much skin. Now that some of the girls have married and moved out of their parents’ home, they have had to find their own style and decide what suits them. Many girls now wear trousers instead of skirts or dresses. While this may not be a big deal for most people, it means more to the Duggar family.

In her new book with husband Jeremy Vuolo, Hope We Hold, Jinger Duggar talks about struggling with her faith and having to figure out what she believes in. Conformity was a big concern for her, but she couldn’t find anything in the Bible that said she shouldn’t wear pants. So he made that decision for himself personally.

In a new picture, Jeremy showed his wife hard at work building a swing in the backyard for their almost three-year-old daughter Felicity. Fans love this photo because Jinger Duggar is working hard and didn’t expect Jeremy’s help in building the swing. But they also praise him for wearing shorts. One user writes: “Go girl with those shorts!!!” Other fans say how much they like the outfit on him. They think she looks great.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Jinger Duggar in shorts since she moved to Los Angeles, California and started doing things for herself. In a workout photo, she also wore shorts, which shocked fans. As the weather continues to warm up, fans shouldn’t be surprised to see Jinger wearing shorts more often.
