Recently, Mike Thompson and his wife Jennifer Thompson decided to officially take custody of Alana. Of course, Jennifer Thompson had wanted it for some time, but she couldn’t get Mike Thompson on board.
Now she thinks it’s better for Alana Thompson to live with them. So he’s ready to fight, and soon he’s trying to convince her to move in with him. However, Alana and her sister Lauryn Shannon believe he has no right to raise Alana on Mama June: From Not to Hot.

Alana from Mama June: From Not to Hot finally tells her father Mike how she feels about her place in her life in the next episode. Soon, Sugar Bear asks Alana if she wants to move in with him and Jennifer. But the spoilers show she’s in shock.
Alana says Mike doesn’t want to be in her life. But typically, Jennifer backs out that Alana is the one who doesn’t want to be in his. Then Alana drops the bomb that Mama told her Sugar Bear didn’t want her because she wasn’t a boy. Of course, Jennifer doubts it and says her Mama’s a crackhead.
Then, Lauryn Shannon starts ringing the bell and calls Mike Thompson saying he didn’t give her a dime to help her take care of Alana and never did. Soon, all the sad details are coming out and it’s more than Alana can do with Mama June: From Not to Hot.
Alana needs to stay with Pumpkin. It’s obvious that Jennifer just want the lime light. There was no reason for her to call her mother a crack head in front of Alana. She needs to remember where her notoriety came from and back the fuck up.

I am so confused as to why the state of Georgia isn’t forcing her father to pay child support. Alana is old enough to decide where she wants to live. Just because you pay child support doesn’t mean you force her to see you. By Jennifer calling her mother names she is creating a hostile situation and why would a judge allow him to visit a goldfish let alone a young girl. Mentally Alana is in a big tug of war. Jennifer has no legal claims on Alana. Pumpkin and her husband have been very responsible raising Alana. They appropriately punish Alana as needed. There’s no money coming from Sugarbear & how many times in a month has he visited with & done things with Alana. Pumpkin, a 19 year old & her husband are financially taking care of Alana, plus there’s love between the sisters. Pumpkin and Alana have enough on their plate, their mother who’s done drugs & so has Geno and that more than what they need. Will June & Alana stay drug free and alcohol free (Geno)? I applaud Pumpkin for everything she’s doing to protect herself, her husband, her daughter, and Alana. She deserves an award. Jennifer and Sugarbear needs to back off and open their eyes to see that Alana is well taken care of. Alana has nice clothes, clean clothes, been taken to school & brought home, there’s plenty of food on the table, Alana gets disciplined when she deserves it. What has Sugarbear & Jennifer done for Alana? Jennifer talks trash about June in from of Alana, that’s being responsible and considerate to Alana & Pumpkins feelings about their mother. First off, Jennifer was WAY out of line and it was EXTREMELY disrespectful of her to tell Alana that her mother is a crackhead in front of her! And Sugar Bear should have reprimanded Jennifer right then and there for disrespecting June because that is Alana’s mother! Regardless of how he may feel about June, it was his job to at the very least, honor Alana’s mother and stop letting other people-especially his wife-talk badly about June!
