Mama June’s daughter, Pumpkin, was involved in a heated debate with Sugar Bear’s wife, Jennifer, about her younger sister Alana, who models in California.
Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, 20, is currently the guardian of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, 13, after leaving their mother June amid months of family drama.
In Friday night’s episode of Mama June: Family Crisis, Lauryn revealed that Alana was flying to California with their agent Gina to audition for a modeling shoot. Jennifer – who is there with Alana’s father, Mike “Sugar Bear Thompson” – immediately wonders if it is “appropriate” for a 13-year-old girl to model. Pumpkin returned fire at a glance: “It’s modeling, it’s not like she’s naked.”
“Pumpkin takes Alana all the way to California when Alana should be focused on going back to school and now it’s a fashion show.
Jennifer then criticizes her teenage stepdaughter: “Alana is on the side of the big boys, she’s not one of those little sticks.
People will make fun of her.” That’s the parenting mistake June would make. Such a mother as a daughter.” The TLC star continued to defend her sister, “It’s just a modeling thing. Alana said she wants to be a model, so I said it’s okay.”
Two-year-old Sugar Bear’s wife then expresses that Pumpkin Bear does not bear the “responsibility” of taking care of her sister. “It’s my decision, so I decided to let her go with Gina,” she replied with insolence.
The pumpkin has expressed concern
“And I know Jennifer may have a few tricks up her sleeve and rip it out of me at any time.” Lauryn – who is the third of June’s children – SLAMMED Alana’s father’s partner for fighting dirty in the custody battle. “The reason I don’t like Jennifer is that she’s a shady a** b***h,” she fired off.
Later in the episode, Alana auditioned for her first show, but she was constantly asked by the casting director to redo her poses and change her walk.
The star of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo wore a blue lace top and black leggings along with black heels during the fashion shoot.
Frustrated by the negative feedback, Alana admits, “If I fail this audition, I may not get another one. I don’t even know what to do anymore.” It’s so embarrassing, like there’s no way I can get any of these judges to pick me. I just want to leave.”
Alana, who has been living with Lauryn and her husband Josh in Georgia since June, has started using drugs and has started an affair with her current boyfriend Geno Doak.
