Sister Wives star Kody Brown can add a new job to her resume – she’s now a Cameo! She seemed delighted to announce the news, writing via Twitter on August 3: “Hey everybody, I’m on CAMEO!”. For $60, you can have a TLC star send you congratulations, words of encouragement or whatever else comes to mind.

There’s nothing wrong with diversifying your revenue stream, but not everyone is thrilled with his new career event. Critics took him to task on Twitter when one wrote: “I think you should get a real job instead of begging for money. You dragged yourself into this when you ordered that stupid move from Vegas. Dig yourself out.”

Another seemed to question how he treated his wives, adding, “If you have time to do this you probably then have time to actually be a husband to your first wife #shameful.” One critic chimed in with, “Is this how your wife’s (except Robyn) get ahold of you”.

Sister Wives star Kody Brown is no stranger to financial problems. According to a November 2020 report in The Sun, he reportedly owes more than $2,000 in property taxes on the home he shares with fourth wife Robyn.

To complicate matters further, Kody hasn’t even started building on the land yet. And that’s not all – Kody is allegedly late on the first half of his $890,000 home’s real estate taxes, which were due on November 2, 2020.

Due to interest, he now has to pay $465.01, according to the release. He also allegedly failed to pay the first half of the property taxes on one of the four parcels of land he purchased, bringing the debt to $1,075.20. If another parcel is added, Kody will have to pay another $1,114.55 in property taxes. Gosh!

It seems the family has fallen on hard times since moving from Las Vegas to Flagstaff, Arizona. They had trouble selling their four homes, which later “sold for thousands under their asking price”, The Sun reported. Their money problems were no secret, as wife Christine shared last season, “Financially, we’re drowning.” Kody Brown added: “Basically we’re paying four, no five mortgages with the Coyote Pass property.” Hopefully, Kody’s Cameo concert will bring in additional revenue.
