LPBW: Matt Retirement Imminent

Matt Roloff, father of LPBW, and his ex-wife Amy Roloff worked for years to bring their farm up to today’s standards. The former couple bought it in 1990 for just $185,000 and, more recently, Amy Roloff sold almost half her shares for $975,000.

Years after setting up the business, Matt is finally ready to retire with his current girlfriend Caryn Chandler. Thus, the TLC star plans to hand over his farm to his sons after his retirement.

LPBW: Matt Retirement Imminent

The past year has been quite difficult for Roloff Farms. Unfortunately, it closed down during the most festive and lucrative “pumpkin season” due to a coronavirus pandemic. As a result, Matt took out a $205 000 government loan under the PPP programme to keep his business going.

Although the farm has recovered from the initial damage, it still has a long way to go to return to normal. Well, in the past, Little People Big World had no plans to retire anytime soon. However, an insider reveals to TheSun that he is now thinking of retiring with his current girlfriend Caryn.

Well, it’s likely that Matt Roloff and Caryn Chandler could retire by the end of 2022. It’s possible they’re planning to move somewhere between Arizona and Oregon. Although they already have a house in Arizona, they now plan to build their dream home together.

In the past, he has told fans that the ultimate scenario after his retirement would be for twin brothers Zach Roloff and Jeremy Roloff to take over the farm. He wants them to work together to make it happen.

Now that Matt is planning to retire, he expects his sons to take over his business. In the past, both Zach Roloff and Jeremy Roloff have shared an interest in buying shares in Roloff Farms.

When Amy Roloff was about to sell her shares to her ex-husband, Zach Roloff wanted to buy them instead. He said he wanted to take over the farm and was interested in running it one day. Well, that hasn’t happened yet, but now that his dad is retiring, he might take the step to buy some shares.

On the other hand, Jeremy has always talked about his passion for the land. He and his wife, Audrey, have worked hard to one day own a farm. Although taking over the Roloff farms is just a possibility for them, it may be possible someday in the future. Now that Matt is about to move away, the twin brothers can take over the property together.
