Sister Wives: Meri's Admission About Kody Brown Is Heartbreaking

It’s no secret that the TLC series Sister Wives is one of the most exciting true-life series today. The eye-opening series has given viewers a glimpse into the lives of Kody Brown and his four wives – Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn – since the show premiered in 2010, and fans have become heavily invested in the Brown family over the past decade.

The show is now in its 15th season and, like other reality stars, the Browns have been trying to navigate life during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In a preview clip for the latest episode of the show, which airs Sundays at 22:00 ET on TLC, Kody – who is the only one going between houses during the pandemic – discusses what would happen if one of his wives or children were to contract the virus. “This is the first time it’s ever even come up even in my mind,” he says. Kody shared (via People).

“If Robyn was to get sick, my first reaction would be I need to be there to nurse her and help basically take care of Solomon and Ariella. Yes, if you’re sick and you need to be taken care of, I’m going to have to come and do it. So that would go for any wife. Period.”

Christine Brown and Janelle Brown confessed that they would take care of themselves and their children if they were infected with the virus, with Christine Brown saying that they would “just hunker down ourselves and do our best to doctor each other while we’re all sick”, and Janelle explaining that her children are old enough to take care of themselves.

Another wife, however, had a different view. Kody’s first wife, Meri Brown – whose relationship with her husband has been rocky for years – doesn’t believe Kody would come to her aid and care for her.

“Nothing would happen,” says Meri. “I would just be at home alone sick. Nobody comes over here anyway, we don’t see each other.” Moreover, when the director asked Meri Brown what Kody Brown said about taking care of her women if they got sick, she replied: “I disagree with him.”
